The Ladang Rakyat Castor Cultivation Road Shows throughout the state of Sabah have generated lots of interest amongst its people. The cultivation of Castor oil plant is certainly the best agricultural crop to plant. The Castors seeds have an oil content of between 40-60% and there are more than 3,000 usages making Castor Cultivation the best decision on the return of investment.

Activities of Koperasi Momogon Pantai Barat Utara Sabah Berhad
Our business diversities include investment into agriculture especially in Castor Contract Farming, Swiftlet and Seaweed cultivation.
Our objective is to create a platform for our esteem members to be able to become diversified business entrepreuners.
Our mission is to assist all our members and provide the know-how, skill and/or knowledge in order to become successful business entrepreuners.
Our vision is to ensure that Koperasi Momongon Pantai Barat Utara Sabah Berhad become a successful platform for all our members to venture into the business entrepreuner world. It is our esteem vision and hope that our investments into the agricultural industry especially Castor Contract Farming, Swiftlet and Seaweed Cultivation would become successful.
We took part in the Hari Peladang, Perternak, dan Nelayan, Sabah organized by the Kementerian Pertanian dan Industri Makanan Sabah held from 18-21 November, 2010.
At this event, we promoted our Castor Contract Farming program. There was overwhelming respond from the public.
Lots of people were curious as to the potential of Castor Contract Farming in the state of Sabah. This is the most lucrative and viable agricultural crop as it only takes about 120 days to harvest.
Castor oil is in great demand. In fact, the demand is much much greater than the supply. China, the number 2 producer of Castor seeds still imports 70% of its country's needs. India is the largest producer of Castor seeds. One (1) of Castor seeds fetch about RM1,200 - RM1,300 in the open market.
